A New Ride
The Branching Out Student Fund Committee is running A New Ride campaign to raise money for a new mini bus.
The student fund committee is made out of students that attend Branching Out, the have control of their own budget from money earned by collecting, crushing and recycling drink cans from business in the local area giving them complete control of how the money is spent.
This year the student fund is running A New Ride campaign to raise money for a new minibus because “The other one keeps breaking down on us”- Dean Peacock Student fund chair person and student.
The bus transports student for Littleport, Ely and the surrounding area, to and from the Branching Out Charity Shops and on day trips benefiting around 50 students per week and helping with various activities to support the local area.
